Zach McIntosh
32, of Eaton, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 29, 2024.
He was born January 16, 1992, in Kettering, to his parents, John R. and Mary E. (Durham) McIntosh.
Zach was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Ethel McIntosh; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Ella Durham; and niece, Adina McIntosh.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Kelly McIntosh; sister, Katie McIntosh; nieces and nephews, Owen, Ethan, and Ellie McIntosh, Alex Howard, and Layla Whitener; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Zach, a passionate collector and talented handyman, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of enthusiasm for the things he loved. He spent countless hours immersed in his collections of Marvel and DC Comics, where his knowledge and excitement were unmatched. His shelves were lined with old rock and country vinyl albums, each holding a special place in his heart and sparking fond memories. Zach also had a unique appreciation for vintage glassware, which he could talk about endlessly with those who shared his interest.
Aside from his collections, Zach was skilled at working on bicycles. Friends and family often turned to him for repairs, knowing his expertise would get them back on the road in no time. Zach's warmth, dedication to his hobbies, and willingness to help others will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 4 from 12PM to 2PM at Calvary Baptist Church, 14 Dorsey Akers Drive, West Alexandria 45381. The funeral service will begin at 2PM with Pastor David Spears officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.
