Yvonne M. Brubaker

Yvonne M. Brubaker, the daughter of the late David and Beatrice (Denlinger), was born April 17, 1937 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Franklin County. She went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2021 at her home at the age of 85 years, 7 months & 21 days.

She was married on August 1, 1954 to Darrell Brubaker at her home, Dayton, Ohio. This union was blessed with 4 sons.

Feeling the need of a Savior, they were baptized into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church on September 15, 1957, making their affiliation with New Conference in 2010.

Yvonne is survived by her 4 sons and daughters-in-law Gary & Pat, Galen & Connie, Greg & Becky and Gene & Jenny; Grandchildren Roland (Marla) Brubaker, Reuben (Beth) Brubaker, Ryan (Bethany) Brubaker, Rochelle (Jake) Wray, Rex (Molly) Brubaker, April (Curtis) Emig, Kandra (Dustin) Barnhart, Brenton (Sarah) Brubaker, Stacy (Kyle) Jones, Levi (Jennifer) Brubaker, Casey (Ryan) Jones, David Brubaker, Rose (Vernon) Denlinger, Krista (Evan) Bowman, Julie (Titus) Landes; 71 great grandchildren; step sister Erlene Reese and step sister-in-law Juanita Brumbaugh.

She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell on December 13, 2016; sister-in-law Wilma Jean; brother -in-law Richard Garber; and grandson Denton Brubaker.

Mother enjoyed being a homemaker and farmwife. She faithfully supported dad in his passion for serving the local community.

She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s soon after dad passed away, and patiently bore this affliction for her remaining five years.

Dad and mom had the pleasure of traveling many miles and learning to know countless people from various states. They spent numerous winters enjoying fellowship with friends in Florida.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Lower Twin German Baptist Brethren Church -  6715 Quaker Trace Road, Camden, OH. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Church with Home Brethren presiding. Following the service at the Church, a procession will lead to Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, where closing ceremonies and interment will take place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center, West Alexandria.
