William “Bill” Wheeler
Age 68, of Eaton, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, April 15, 2022. Bill was born on February 21, 1954, in Richmond, IN, to the late Walter and Barbara (Tibbott) Wheeler.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his son-in-law and camping buddy, Scott Morningstar.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Linda Wheeler; children, Julie (Kevin) Potts, Nick (Krista) Wheeler, Bailey Morningstar; grandchildren, Matt Mobley, Olivia, Jenna, and Ella Wheeler; a ferocious companion, Coco; siblings, Sarah (Charlie) Moore, John (Jackie) Wheeler; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bill enjoyed Sunday drives, camping with his family, making new friends, and using everyday as an opportunity for a new adventure. While being on the road as a truck driver, he would read copious amounts of books while he had to wait for inspections. You could find Bill with a Mountain Dew or Reece’s Cup in hand or out helping his wife tend to their beautiful flower garden. Bill was larger than life with a heart to match and never knew a stranger. He was friends with everyone and will be truly missed by those who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Eaton United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 4:00PM-6:00PM, with services to start at 6:00PM. Private burial will take place on a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Preble County Humane Society or any local animal shelter around you. www.rlcfc.com
