William A Buehler

William A. Buehler, 78, of West Alexandria, OH, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Thursday, February 12, 2015, surrounded by his family. Born June 6, 1936, he was a son of the late Karl E. & Martha U. (Mueller) Buehler. He retired on July 30, 1998 after 32 years from Lau Blower in Dayton. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Lebanon, where both Will and Nancy served the Lord in many different ways over the years. Will loved to hunt, fish and pitch horseshoes. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Carl and Walter Buehler and great grandson Owen Grimm. Survived by wife of 58 years Nancy P. (Colton) Buehler whom he married December 22, 1956: daughters and Sons-in-law Peggy & Doug Woodard of Eaton; Mary & James Stoddard of Eaton; Shirley & Edward Fisher of West Alexandria; and Ruth & Jerry French of Connersville, IN: 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren: sisters Helen Wollenhaupt of Murray, UT; Martha Stanfill & husband Lonnie of Dayton: brother Eugene Buehler of New Lebanon. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the First Baptist Church - 335 S. Church St. - New Lebanon. Pastor Steven Betts presiding. Friend may call on the family at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Monday; and at the Church from 10:00 - 11:00 am Tuesday.
