Will Eugene Henry

60 of Eaton (Lakengren), passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

He was born December 20, 1963, to Buddy and Phyllis Henry in Franklin, Ohio.

Will proudly served his country in the Navy for 8 years as a Radar Approach Tech aboard the USS Nimitz.  Through the Navy, he received his degree in electrical and electronic engineering.  Will had a vast knowledge of mechanics.  There wasn’t anything he could not fix.  Will enjoyed his computer and continuously expanded his knowledge in programming and pixel animation.  He loved to cook. Will made new recipes and invited all his friends and family over to try it.  Everyone that knew him had a favorite dish he had made.  Will had a “ride or die” companion for the last four years named Louie, who is a border collie and best friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy “Bud” Henry; his mother, Phyllis; sisters, Sara and Becky Henry; and brothers, Boyd and John Duff.

Will is survived by his wife, Glenda Henry; children, Alan DeHaven, Jessie DeHaven, Amber (Tristan) Jameson, Rebecca Johnston, Jessica (Ian) Johnston, Leah (Emmet) Rosselli, Carla (Jason) McClure, and Alysha (Karl) Phillips; 17 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; siblings, Cheryl Chamberlain, Paul Allen, and Missy Wainscott; mother, Faye Henry; nieces and nephews that loved him; and his dog, Louie.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 21 at 11AM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West  Alexandria. A burial of cremated remains with military honors will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
