Wanda Lee Mcmurray

On January 7, 2016, our beloved Wanda Lee McMurray, went home to be with her Lord and Savior. Wanda was 83 years young. Preceded in death by loving husband Bill McMurray: parents Richard and Mattie Brannon: brothers Richard "Bud" Thomas and Carl Brannon: and grandson Joseph McMurray, II. Her legacy lives on with her son Joseph McMurray, her daughter Linda and husband Chuck Wathen, and her son Donald and wife Sheri McMurray: her grandchildren Melissa (David) Newberry, Charles (Julie) Wathen, Jr., Jeremy McMurray, Amy (Robby) Lewis, Julie (Jason) Schroth, Jenny (Eric) Starks, Judy (Josh) Mason, Donald (Karissa) McMurray, Jr., Andy (Brandi) Wathen, Sean (Shauna) McMurray, Jessica (Paul) Brissey, and Travis McMurray: her 33 great grandchildren: sisters Dorothy McMurray and Mary Jackson: multiple nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Wanda's pastor Elbert Sorrell presiding. Friends may call on the family from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
