Virginia M. Niles, 77, of New Lebanon, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Born in Dayton, OH, she was a daughter of the late George L. & Agnes (Mausby) Schaffer. Virginia was a 1953 graduate of Jefferson High School and remained close with many of her classmates. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Mickey L. Niles on February 5, 2006: brother Bob Whitney; sister Georgie Combs: and her beloved dog Bambi on Christmas Day. Survived by children Linda Longman & husband Herb, Diane Grooms & husband Harry, Mickey Niles, II & wife Bonni, Keith Niles & wife Janet, and Kevin Niles & Kathy: 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
