Violet Hake

Violet Hake, age 93, of Eaton, OH, passed away peacefully Monday morning, December 27, 2010. Born July 30, 1917 in Red Lick, KY, she was a daughter of the late Beechum & Viania (Spivey) Winkler. Mrs. Hake was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren and former 20 year employee of Baxter Corporation in Eaton. She and husband Andrew had also formerly worked as custodians for Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Andrew W. Hake in 1995: daughter Carolyn Sue Elliott: and 4 brothers. Survived by daughter Dorothea Waggnor of Eaton; sons Gary Hake & wife Sharon of New Hope, OH; Joe Hake & wife Violet of Eaton: 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren: brothers Gene and Jay Winkler of Middletown, IN: sisters Eula Drake and Beulah Richardson both of Richmond, KY. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
