Victor Kidwell
93, of Brookville, went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 8, 2022.
He was born October 19, 1928 in Brassfield, Kentucky to the late Van B. and Addie (Rucker) Kidwell.
In addition to his parents, Victor was preceded in death by his 1st wife and mother to his children, June M. Kidwell; son, Steve Kidwell; sister, Mossie L. Garner; and 2nd wife, Mary L. Kidwell.
He is survived by his children, Karla (Larry) Wogoman of West Milton, Mike (Kim) Kidwell of Whitehall, Montana, and Kathe Conley of Brookville; daughter-in-law, Sandy Kidwell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Wilma “Toots” Yablonsky of the Villages of Florida; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Victor had been a tool maker who worked and retired GM after 30 years of service. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing and was lovingly referred to as “Happy” by his grandkids and great grandkids.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Dayton, especially to Tonya Kuntz and Lisa Clark, and the Brookhaven Nursing and support staff for their excellent care they gave to Victor.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 12 from 1-2PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria 45381. The funeral service will begin at 2PM with Lee Behnken officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
