Vernon Eugene Nickell, age 88 of New Lebanon, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. Born June 3, 1929 in Daysboro, Kentucky he was a son to the late Charlie & Beulah (Rice) Nickell. Vernon was a hardworking man; and retired at the age of 82. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, he will be truly missed. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Betty Jane (Perkins) Nickell and son Gary Eugene Nickell. Survived by grandchildren Sarah Anne Nickell & Todd Osborne; Daniel Eugene Nickell; Robert Allen Nickell.
