Timothy Spears

Timothy Spears, age 53, of Eaton, OH, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at his residence. Born in Paintsville, KY, he was a son of Jerry & Janice (Collins) Spears. Tim was a 1976 graduate of Twin Valley South High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Ohio State University. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eaton and had worked as an iron worker and builder. Preceded in death by father Jerry Spears in 1992 and sister Sheila Nelson in 1997. Survived by son Jessie Edward Spears of Put-in-Bay, OH; mother Janice Overton of West Alexandria: brothers and sisters Mark Spears of Lexington, KY; Patricia Ehlers & husband Brent of Trotwood, OH; Sharon Blankenship of Eaton: and David Spears of West Alexandria: several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton First Baptist Church - 1320 N.
