Thomas Eugene Norman, Sr., 82, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 29, 2017. Tom was born August 22, 1934 in Six, West Virginia. He was the son of Mary E. Norman Smith and Ray Gentry. A devoted Cincinnati Reds fan, he loved sports of all kinds that included fishing, basketball, baseball and pro wrestling. As a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Eaton, he was a Christian man who loved the Lord and enjoyed helping others. Tom retired from Price Brothers Pressure Pipe in Dayton. He could often be seen with his video camera and was always willing to share copies of whatever he filmed. He is survived by beloved wife Katie L. (Spoonamore) Norman, whom he married August 4, 1979; son Thomas E. Norman, Jr. and wife Brandy, and their children Owen T. Norman and Riley E. Norman all of Englewood; and sister Patsy Ballard and husband Mark of Palm Coast, FL. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dane Driver presiding.
