Thomas R. Knight, 67, of Eaton, OH, passed into eternity on Saturday afternoon, September 17, 2016. Born September 20, 1948, he was a son of the late Joseph C. & Elizabeth (McConnell) Knight. He was a graduate of Dixie High School in New Lebanon and later attended Sinclair Community College. Mr. Knight retired after 30 years as a millwright from the Millwrights Union Local 1402. A lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed shooting, hunting, fishing, boating and camping. Tom was also a skilled wood worker making all kinds of furniture for his family. Survived by wife Pamela J. (Gray) Knight whom he married on August 30, 1974; son Thomas J. Knight & wife Pamela J. of Culpeper, VA; daughter Christina Knight & husband Tony Rogers of Eaton; grandsons Christopher Zapfe and Andrew Ferguson; brothers Kenneth Knight of Dayton, Tim Knight of New Lebanon, and Dennis Knight of Arcanum, OH; sister Joyce Hartzog of Dothan, AL; along with many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family from 1-2 PM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
