Theresa “Terri” Davis

63, of Eaton, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Rita Cummins; and sister, Debbie Ludwig.

Terri is survived by her fiancée of 35 years, Michael Lunsford; son, Todd Davis; step-son, Ian Lunsford; grandchildren, Peyton and Piper; nephews, Ryan Ludwig, Brad Lunsford, and Matthew Cummins; brothers, Brian Cummins and Dan Cummins; nieces, Renee Farr, Katelyn Cummins, and Samantha Cummins; great niece, Bella LaBlanc.

A devoted cat lover, Terri found solace in the companionship of feline friends. Her home was a haven for these furry creatures, and their purrs brought comfort to her heart.  Nature held a special place in Terri's soul, and she found peace in the great outdoors. Taking leisurely walks and watching birds became cherished rituals, connecting her to the beauty of the world around her.  Terri's kitchen was a place of joy and delicious aromas. She loved to bake and cook, with Thanksgiving and Christmas cookies being her specialties. Her culinary creations were a reflection of her generosity and love for bringing people together.  Known affectionately as "Mama" or "Mother Theresa" by friends and family, Terri was a pillar of support. Her unwavering willingness to help others made her a source of comfort and strength for those who needed it most.  Terri's fascination with tree frogs on hot summer nights added a touch of enchantment to her evenings. The rhythmic chorus outside her window was a melody that echoed the harmony she found in nature.  Campfires were a source of warmth and camaraderie for Terri. Gathered with loved ones, she found joy in the flickering flames and the shared stories that danced in the firelight.  The delicate dance of hummingbirds captivated Terri's heart, and their vibrant presence brought her immense joy. Hummingbirds, like Terri, reminded us all to appreciate life's fleeting beauty.  Cinnamon donuts were a sweet indulgence that brought a sparkle to Terri's eyes. Whether shared with friends or enjoyed in quiet moments, these treats were a simple pleasure she held dear.  Rock music was the soundtrack to Terri's life, providing a rhythm to her days and a melody to her heart. Her love for laughter, often shared out loud, created an atmosphere of joy wherever she went.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 21 from 5-7PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West Alexandria, with a memorial service to begin at 7PM.
