Thelma A. (Wolfe) Cook

Thelma Cook, “Babe Wolfe”

91 years old, went home to be with the Lord December 8, 2023, with family by her side.

She was born to Ivy and Gertrude (Garber) Wolfe in Preble County, Ohio, October 24, 1932.

Preceded in death by husband Edward Cook “Jr”, sons Terry McCoy and Randall Rust, daughter in law Kim Rust, grandchildren Amber McCoy, Rebecca Rust, Jim McCoy, 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Thelma is survived by son Danny McCoy, daughter Lisa (John) Noe. Step children Rick (Carol) Cook, David Cook, Donna (Bill) Beavins, Greg Cook. Grandchildren: Steve McCoy, Sarah Combs, Kelly McCoy, Janice Hensley, Ashley (Doug) Miller, Chrissy Rust, Scott Rust, Lee (Brittany) Vaughan, Allen (Sasha) Vaughan, Hunter Newhart, Morgan (James) Newhart. Numerous Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She retired from Inland Manufacturing. Was active many years with the American Legion, VFW, and Eagles. She loved cooking, canning, gardening and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and was a devoted friend to many.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 14 from 5-7PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West Alexandria.  The funeral service will begin at 11AM on Friday, December 15 with Deacon Robert Crook officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.
