Susan K. (Donohoo) Ballinger

69, of Eaton, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 2, 2023.

She was born March 19, 1953, in Troy, Ohio, to the late Albert F. and Margaret E. (Black) Donohoo.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Miller; and brothers, James and Allen Donohoo.

She is survived by her loving companion of 37 years, Chip Wright; son, Michael Ballinger; brothers and their wives, Doug and Jan Donohoo and Richard and Leta Donohoo; sister-in-law, Donna Sue Donohoo; beloved pet, Maggie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Sue graduated from Eaton High School, Class of 1971 and retired from Parker Hannifin after 35 years.  She enjoyed working in her yard and flower garden, where she had a green thumb and could bring any plant back to life. Sue had a passion for riding horses, collecting Longaberger baskets, and she and Chip enjoyed evening golf cart rides around Lakengren.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 8, from 11AM to 1PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West Alexandria.  The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor John Richards officiating and burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
