Stephen Russell,Michael, Jr., age 58, of West Manchester, OH, passed away Monday evening, August 13, 2012. Born in Hamilton, OH, he was a son of Stephen Russell, Sr. & Janis Louise (Boling) Michael. Steve was a lifelong resident of Preble County and 36 year resident of West Manchester. He was a 1971 graduate of Eaton High School and worked 39 years for Parker Hannifin with 25 years of perfect attendance. He served as a volunteer fireman (retired) for West Manchester and also formerly served on Village Council. In addition to spoiling his grandchildren, he enjoyed restoring old tractors and tractor shows. Preceded in death by his father Stephen, brother Hubert E. Michael, and daughter Tina Marie Michael. Survived by wife Brenda Kay (Lane) whom he married August 16, 1974: son & daughter-in-law Jeremy & Jamie Michael: daughter & son-in-law Davona & Tim Davis all of West Manchester: grandchildren Aleah "Little One", Hunter and Hailee Michael, Grace and Michael Davis: mother Janis Michael of Eaton: brothers Bruce (Lydia) Michael of Eaton; Jack (Kay) Michael of New Paris, OH; and Pete (Donna) Michael of Eaton: sisters Diane (Darrell) Baker of Lewisburg, OH; Tonya Martin of El Paso, TX; and Karen Busteed of Lewisburg: nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Wayne Morrison presiding. Friends may call on the family from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday and from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
