Stella M. Vencill

76, of West Alexandria, went to be with the Lord and her late husband, Ralph A. Vencill, Jr., Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

She was born August 2, 1945 in Dayton to the late Robert D. and Mary (Aldridge) Nicely.

In addition to her parents and husband, Stella was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Eagle, and brother, Bob Nicely.

She is survived by her children, Crystal Forte, Leon Vencill, Ralph A. Vencill III & wife Nancy, Curtis Vencill & wife Julie, and Blaine Vencill; grandchildren Michael and Ryan Forte, Kyle and Kayla Vencill, Tia Thomas, Tori, Matthew, and Tabitha Vencill, and Haiden Vencill; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Betty Davenport, Martha Wheeler, Connie Patterson, and Phil Nicely; and beloved dog, Brodie.

Stella had attended Generations Church in Clayton and retired from Twin Valley South Schools as a custodian.  She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, and watching gameshows on TV.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 17 from 11AM to 2PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria.  The funeral service will begin at 2PM with Rev. Dr. Ralph Vencill III and Rev. Matthew Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Contributions in Stella’s memory may be made to Ohio’s Hospice.
