Stanley S. Pemberton, 70, of Eaton, OH, passed away early Saturday morning October 30, 2021, following a short illness. Born June 7, 1951, he was the sixth of seven children born to the late Homer E. and Doris (Keinzle) Pemberton. A graduate of Eaton High School and member of Salem Lutheran Church in West Alexandria, for many years Stanley was the owner operator of Iron Horse Repair in Lewisburg. A member of the Antique Tractor Club, a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, he loved to watch his grandkids play ball. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Clem J. Pemberton.
Survived by his beloved wife Sheila M. (Bryant) Pemberton whom he married October 10, 2009; step children Randy Hines of Piqua, OH and Shelley Hines of Eaton; grandchildren Ryan Hines, Nicholas Hines and Troy Scott all of Eaton; sister and brothers Wilda Overly of Centerville, OH, Russel Lee Pemberton of Thornton, Colorado, Gary Lee Pemberton of Eaton and Darrel Keith Pemberton of Eaton; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center – 3377 US Rt. 35 E. – West Alexandria, OH. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, followed by burial in Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
