Stanley G. Brown

Stanley G. Brown, age 55, of Eaton, OH, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday afternoon, September 1, 2013. Born in Middletown, OH, he was a son of the late Ronald H. & Marilyn D. Adams Brown. Stanley served with the US Army Airborne from 1976 - 1984. He worked for Parker Hannifin for 29 years at several area plants; was a member of American Legion Post 322 of West Alexandria, OH; and was an avid golfer and former member of the Preble County Pool League. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by mother-in-law Jane Wilhelm and niece Sawnie Kilroy. Survived by wife Barbara S. Wilhelm Brown whom he married December 26, 1976: daughter April Nicole Brown of Eaton: sisters and brothers Patricia D. (Don) Vaughn of Camden, OH; Cole (Terry) Brown of New Lebanon, OH; Sandra K. (Bill) Shafer of West Alexandria; Rockne W. Brown of New Lebanon; Michael A. (Lois) Brown of Smithfield, VA; and Brian K. (Laura) Brown of Sudsbury, Canada: father-in-law Don Wilhelm of Eaton: brothers-in-law Mike Wilhelm of Eaton and Kent (Diane) Wilhelm of Camden: sister-in-law Peggy (Kelly) Frederick of Eaton: numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call on the family from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Gary Wood presiding. Military honors by American Legion Post 322 will take place at the graveside following the service.
