Stanley A. Arnold, of Kettering, and formerly of New Lebanon and Lewisburg, passed away peacefully Monday, May 12, 2014 at his home. Born in Campbellsville, KY, he was a son of the late Robert I. & Lola (Maupin) Arnold. A man devoted to serving the Lord, he was a member for over 50 years of the First Baptist Church in New Lebanon, where he served as a Deacon, a Sunday School teacher, Bible teacher and Associate Pastor. For over 30 years, Stanley worked as a high school mathematics teacher; 28 years at New Lebanon, and formerly at Farmersville and Louisville, KY. Following retirement, he worked for Preble County Board of Developmental Disabilities as a Senior Adult Supervisor at L & M Products. In addition to his parents and siblings, he is preceded in death by wife Carolyn Arnold: and granddaughter Isabella Marie Cristiano in 2002. Survived by wife Donna G. Stamper Arnold whom he married February 3, 1990: children Nathan Arnold (Becca) of Kettering; Gina Cristiano & husband Tony of Kettering and their children Pasquale, Milena and Olivia; Leslie Christofano & husband Jason of Kettering and their children Lucia and Celia; Robin Rock & husband Richard and her children Liza and Allen Steele; Michelle Paivola & husband Lasse and children Michael and Christopher Reeves: and Heather Coyle & husband Mike and their children Samantha and Gus. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday at the First Baptist Church - 335 S. Church St. - New Lebanon. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the Church with Terry Smith presiding. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse (samaritanspurse.org).
