Shirley A Lynch

Shirley Ann Lynch, age 73, passed away on Monday morning, November 10, 2014 at Vancrest Nursing Home in Eaton, Ohio. Born in Dayton on June 27, 1941, she was a daughter to the late Carl and Treva (Head) Sams. Shirley was a member of Community Christian Church in West Alexandria. She was very creative, and loved to craft. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs, and will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother Harry Sams. Survived by children David Lynch & wife Dawn of Dayton, OH; Joanne Brown & husband Perry of Berlin Center, OH; Dale Lynch & wife Patty of Eaton: grandchildren Holly Crouch, Chester Welz & wife Shawnda, William Welz, Kristen Lewis & husband Jonathan, Daniel Lynch & fiancé Lydia Davis, Michael Smith, Matthew Smith, Amanda Lesh, Jarod Arden & wife Crystal, and Brooke Arden: great-grandchildren Austin and Dylan McFaddin, Josh and Willow Welz, Alana Welz and Addie Arden: siblings Alice Blakemore of Elkhart, IN; Pam Miller of Gillett, WI; Beverly Stockton of Huber Heights, OH; and Karla Schwartz of Elkhart, IN. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Doug Bottles will officiate. Friends may call on the family from 12:00- 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
