Sharon Ruth Hake
age 70, of Eaton, Ohio, residing in Mossy Head, Florida, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024. She was born to the late Robert and Dorothy (Knox) Hofacker on March 5, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio.
Sharon was Assembly of God by faith and a member of Bethel Christian Assembly of God in Dayton, Ohio. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She worked as a Church bookkeeper at Bethel Christian Assembly of God. She loved crocheting, puzzles, reading, and watching old movies. She was affectionally known as Nana and Granny to her grandchildren.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Gary Hake; and brother, Ramon Hofacker. She is survived by her children, Alivia (Raymond) Newman, formerly of Germantown, Ohio, now residing in Mossy Head, Florida, and Jason Hake of Eaton, Ohio; two stepchildren, Joseph (Melissa) Hake of Eaton, Ohio, and Steve (Sherri) Hake of Eaton, Ohio; two brothers, Butch Hofacker and Douglas (Lisa) Hofacker; one sister, Barb “Jeanie” (Johnny) Barlow; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Friday, February 2, 2024, from 1PM to 2PM at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria 45381. The funeral service will begin at 2PM with Pastor Dan Brown officiating. Burial to follow the service at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.
