Ruth Castle

Ruth Castle, age 91 of Eaton, Ohio passed away Thursday afternoon June 29, 2017 at Southview Hospital in Dayton. Born June 6, 1926 she was a daughter to the late Ed & Ida (Mays) Meek. Ruth was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Carlisle, Ohio for over 50 years. She was active at the Senior Center and YMCA in Eaton, Ohio and enjoyed reading & actively went bowling up until the age of 90. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Audra Castle: siblings Cecil Meek; Glendeen Tipton. Survived by daughter Virginia "Jenny" Lovely & Tim of West Alexandria, OH; Phyllis Scholl & Joe of Carlisle, OH: granddaughter Becky Lovely Thompson & Doug of New Lebanon, OH; Lori Clark of Lewisburg, OH; Johnathan Beasley & Lisa of England: siblings Ogal Spicer and Thelma Richardson both of Kentucky. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Monday, July 3, 2017 at Hillcrest Baptist Church - 820 Central Ave, Carlisle, OH- Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Larry Lambes presiding.
