Ruby J. Williams

Ruby J. Williams, age 82, of Richmond, IN passed peacefully Tuesday, February 21, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born to Leslie Young and Meldora Allen on March 18, 1940 in Hazard, KY.
Ruby listened to music of any kind, but really enjoyed Elvis and watching classic movies. She was a fantastic cook all around and liked to crochet. One of her favorite places she loved to travel to was the beach, but of all the things she loved her family was by far her favorite.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 65 years; Cleon, her grandson; Matthew Williams, along with several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children; Valerie (Wayne) Morrison, James Williams, Shane (Monique) Williams and Marc (Brenda Dunn) Williams, her grandchildren; Richard, Brooke, Devan, Jasmine, Kaysey, Michael, Tristan, and Noah, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and her sister; Della Young-Hurt-Amburgey.
A visitation for Ruby will be held Monday, February 27, 2023 at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, with a funeral to start promptly at 1:00PM. Burial to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date. For condolences, please visit: www.rlcfc.com
