Ruby I. Flanary, 82, of Riverside, OH, passed away early Tuesday morning, October 25, 2016. Born May 29, 1934 in Cobb Hill, Estill County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Ben & Nannie (Patrick) Watson. Ruby was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and was a longtime member of East Dayton Baptist Church. She was a part-time cafeteria worker for Mad River Schools and later as a hostess at the Linden Ave. McDonalds. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on April 17, 2005 by husband Jimmy C. Flanary; brothers Howard and Eugene Watson and sisters Elsie Fugate and Dorothy Fugate. Survived by children Terry Flanary & wife Janet of Dayton, Pam Daniels & husband Johnny of Carlton, TX, Jeff Flanary of Riverside, and Pati Gagaza & husband Roy of Manteca, CA; grandchildren Josh Flanary, Cody Flanary, Paden Daniels, Travis Daniels, Kyrie Belme, Mackenzie Belme, Grant Gagaza and Errol Flanary: great grandchildren Kaitlyn and Payton; sister Felcie Muncie of New Lebanon. Friends and family may visit from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brian Kershaw presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Burial Preble Memory Gardens.
