Ronald (Spooney) Spoonmore

Ronald L. Spoonmore Sr. (SPOONEY) age 54 of New Lebanon, passed away at home Thursday morning September 1, 2011, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 21, 1957 the son of William Harvey and Louise (Jennings) Spoonmore. He is survived by his wife Linda: his parents: son Ronald L. Spoonmore Jr. and Step Daughter Adeena (Terry) Patrick: Granddaughters Linley and Laila Spoonmore: Sisters Pamela Spoonmore and Debbie Norman: nephews Jason, Christopher, Brian (Kate) Norman: Great Nephew and Niece Jackson and Anna Norman: numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Ron had a great number of friends and will be especially missed by Jim Hannah, Donald Fugate, Stanley Milton, Mike Foudray, and the Goad Brothers. He retired from Inland Division of GM, where he was known for his work ethic, humor and personality. Ron endeared himself to everyone he met throughout his life. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. A Private funeral service will be held at the family's convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Center at Ohio State University, Columbus.
