Ronald O. Miller

Ronald O. Miller, 70, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away Wednesday September 23, 2020 following an extended illness. Ron was born on February 23, 1950, he was the son of the late Otis and Evelyn (Harrison) Miller. He retired after 35 years from the Delphi Division of General Motors. After retiring from Delphi he went back to work as a maintenance man for apartments in West Alexandria and New Lebanon. His family said "Ron never met anybody who wasn't his friend." He was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister Loretta Miller. Ron is survived by his wife of 50 years Debbie (Covington) Miller; children Barbie Dooley and husband Tim of West Manchester, Shawn Miller of New Lebanon, and Traci Deneski and husband Jeremiah of New Lebanon; grandchildren Madison Deneski, Nathan Miller, Chris, Corey and Cody Dooley, Dayna and Mark Cocca; great grandchildren Calvin Grimes and Liara Boze, and Levi and Jack Cocca; sisters Yolanda Hardy of West Alexandria, and Connie Tobias and husband Jack of Eaton; and longtime good friend Gary Allen of Tennessee. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, September 28, 2020 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Wallace "Buddy" Barnett, Jr. will officiate. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Sunday. Burial will be next to his mother at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
