Roger L. Perry, 70, of Eaton, OH, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, July 26, 2015 at his home. Born June 14, 1945, he was a son of the late Willie R. & Lillian (Dunson) Perry. A Vietnam veteran, he served with the US Army from September 1965 - May 1967. Roger was a lifelong diesel mechanic and retired from Brown Transport in Gratis after 7 years. He loved music and played guitar from an early age; loved to ride his motorcycles, and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, tinkering and the ability to fix almost anything. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister Imogene Horn and sister-in-law Mary Perry. Survived by his wife of 31 ½ years Regina A. (Tuggle) Perry: children Roger P. Perry of Eaton; Sheri Perry Waxler of Eaton; Jason Perry of Brookville, OH: step children America Salyers of Eaton and Chris (Amber) Browning of Eaton: grandchildren Kyle, Kelsee, Dustyn, Mackenzie, Ceridwyn, Nora and Jude: great grandchildren Mathew and Jaxon: brothers and sister Dalton (Karen) Perry of Eaton; Leon Perry of California; Mike (Jolene) Perry of Georgia and Mary Lou (Jimmy) Thayer of Nevada: step brother Paul Denver (Linda) Howard; Anna (Bruno) Pabon; and Shirley (Lewis) Kenney all of California: brother-in-law Roger Horn of Tennessee: many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
