Robert "Steve" Marbaugh
66, of Vandalia, formerly of Eaton, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 26, 2023.
He was born November 24, 1956, in Celina, to the late Robert B. and Virginia A. (Fullerton) Marbaugh.
in addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David Crank.
He is survived by his sister, Joyce Crank; brothers, Scott and his wife, Joann and Andy Marbaugh; nieces, Vallarie and her husband, John Vest, Mandy and her husband, Bart Thompson, and Sarah and her husband, Josh Taylor; great nephews, Kaden, Klayton, and Kylan Taylor, Kamden and Kollin Thompson, and Kody and his wife, Brianna Vest; and great-great nephew, Wesley Vest.
He was a graduate of Eaton High School, Class of 1976. Steve was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan who enjoyed cheering the teams to victory. Any and all types of airplanes just fascinated him, and he was pretty skilled at piecing together model airplanes.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 4 from 11AM to 12:30PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West Alexandria. The funeral service will begin at 12:30PM with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating, with burial to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
