Robert W. Lockard

Robert W. Lockard, 68, of Brookville, OH passed away early Sunday morning, March 21, 2021. He attended Milton Union High School in West Milton. He worked for 25 years with his dad at 3D Mold Tool and Die Company. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, taking his granddaughter on shopping sprees, eating his mom's cooking, fishing and hunting with his grandson. He enjoyed trading stocks, and flipping houses and cars. A kind and generous man, he opened the pond on his rural property for persons with disabilities to learn the joy of fishing. Bob is preceded in death by his dad Don "Skip" Grover, brother Brian Grover and nephews Tyler and Nolan. Survived by his mother Alice Faye (Carpenter) Grover of West Milton; grandchildren Trevor Lockard and Taylor Lockard both of Brookville; sisters Tina Iddings of West Milton and Belinda (Mark) Ayala of Bowling Green, OH; nieces and nephew and their families Shanda, Heather, Nikki and Justin; and lifelong best friend Jerry Havens of New Carlisle; and 23 year companion Sharon Brown of Dayton. A memorial visitation and service will be starting from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday, March 29. 2021 at the Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center - 3377 US Rt. 35, West Alexandria, OH. with the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
