Robert "Ed" Dunn

Robert "Ed" Dunn , age 86, of Richmond, IN, passed away Thursday night August 24, 2017. Born March 5, 1931 in Estill, KY, he was one of 13 children born to the late Jeff and Hester (Bryant) Dunn. Robert was a member of Living Faith Church of God in Richmond and formerly attended the Oak Park Church of God in Richmond where he was affectionately known as "The Candy Man". He loved being outdoors, fishing, playing horseshoes, tinkering with lawnmowers; family and family gatherings. He formerly worked as a molder for Swayne Robinson in Richmond. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters and brothers Flora, Oscar, Hargis, Leonard, Myrtle, Lucy, Luther, Jeff, James, Mary and Hamp. He is survived by wife of 67 years Bernice (Gregory) Dunn, whom he married November 12, 1949: daughters Norma Jean Runion and husband Ron of Dallas, GA; Bonnie Gail Tschirgi and husband Don of Eldorado, OH; and Sharon Wyatt of Richmond: grandchildren Heather Earnshaw, Veronica Silvers, Matthew Runion, Cybil Parry, Robert Runion: great grandchildren Brittany Jarmusch, Tyler Runion, Madison Runion, Hannah Silvers, Jonathan Silvers, Jacob Stites, Emma Stites and Grace Parry: great grandsons Eli and Jason Jarmusch: sister Hazel of Newport, KY along with numerous other family and friends. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
