Rita F. Sims

Rita F. Sims, 69, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Tuesday evening, April 9, 2019. Born June 25, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Millard and Thelma (Ballinger) Sim. She loved flower gardening and decorating. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother Jim McPherson. She is survived by son Lonnie Sims of Eaton; grandson Colton Sims and fiancé Haley of Sommerville; brother and sisters Genes Sims and wife Tina of Camden, Linda Bishop and Carolyn Hipsher both of Middletown; sister-in-law Danita McPherson of Farmersville; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35; West Alexandria. Friends may call on the family from 2:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
