Richard “Rick” A. McDonald

69, of Eaton, formerly Richmond, Indiana, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 5, 2021.

He was born November 3, 1951, in Chillicothe, to the late Richard M. McDonald and Barbara A. Guntle.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his stepmom, Barbara J. McDonald, and sisters, Sandra K. and Joni Faith McDonald.

He is survived by his children, Patricia McDonald, Patrick (Megan) McDonald, and Macy McDonald; grandchildren, McKenna, McKinzie, Parker, Paxton, James, Derek, and Matthew; siblings, Patty (Dave) Lagle, Jeff (Sandra) McDonald, Karita (Spencer) Pierson, Toni (Jerry) Ulmer, Chuck DeBolt, and Jacquie (John) Palazzolo; and many nieces and nephews.

Rick was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had been a drug and alcohol abuse counselor at Richmond State Hospital.  He enjoyed spending time fishing and love being with kids and grandkids.
