Richard Combs Jr.

Richard Combs, Jr., 79, of Dayton, OH, passed away peacefully Monday morning February 8, 2016 at his Jefferson Twp. home. Born February 23, 1936 in Scuddy, KY, he was a son of the late Richmond & Julia Jane (Grace) Combs. He was the owner operator of Combs Moving for over 28 years. He loved to bowl and had participated in league bowling over the years; and also enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by wife Sylvia J. (Crider) Combs on October 14, 2013: brothers and sisters Robert Combs, Sarah Caudill, Clester Combs, Thomas Combs, Cynthia Combs, Dorothy Profitt, Laura Belle Combs, Euthie Ellen Miller, Boyd Combs and Regina Smith. Survived by his children Donnie Combs & wife Teresa of Englewood, OH; Tony Combs & wife Karen of Dayton; Tammy Crider & Jack Burnett, Jr. of Lewisburg, OH; Terri Hawk & husband Marvin of New Lebanon, OH: grandchildren Tony, Melissa, Andrew, Shaun, Ashley, Courtney, Corey, Cole and Conner: 9 great grandchildren: and brother Jerry Combs of Dayton. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
