Richard Edward Bergbigler
74, of Eaton, left this earth peacefully on Monday April 8, 2024. He was born January 3, 1950 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Harry and Lottie Bergbigler.
Richard is survived by his children, Sunshine (Lori) Neeley of Eaton, Joshua (Casey) Bergbigler of Montpelier IN, Justin Bergbigler of Eaton, Jeremy (Cortney) Bergbigler of Eaton, Menisa (Chris) Ream of Fredericksburg, VA, Jeanet Bergbigler of Camden, and Eric Bergbigler of Eaton; brothers, John Bergbigler of Butler, PA, Thomas Bergbigler of Butler, PA, and sister, Sherry Bergbigler of Butler, PA; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. His furry companion Scratch, and the mother of his children Martha (Dave) Closey.
Along with his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Bergbigler.
Richard proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force and retired a Senior Master Sergeant (SMSGT). Besides his career in the Military, He enjoyed lots of things in life. He liked going to casinos, fishing, and building furniture. He also was a collector and one of his collections was that of coins.
Richard will be greatly missed by many. The family will receive friends on Thursday April 11, 2024 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. The funeral service will begin at 1PM and burial with military honors to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
