Rex O. Roark

Rex Roark, age 83 of Lewisburg, OH, passed away at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Unit in Greenville, OH on Tuesday morning, December 25, 2018. Born October 11, 1935 in Clay Co., Kentucky, he was a son of the late Burchell and Lydia (Burkhart) Roark of New Lebanon, OH. Rex married his wife of 42 years Marjorie Christine (Hornsby) on July 8, 1976. Rex was a hard working man; he was an auto paint and body repair man and installed and refinished industrial woodblock and residential hardwood floors. He attended Triumphant Christian Center Church of God in Greenville Ohio. He was survived by his wife Marjorie Christine Roark; children Taborah Denise Roark Hall, Sonya Renee Roark Kuhn and husband Ray, George Clifton Hall, Brenda Lea Wise, and Clayton Perry Irvin; grandchildren Justin Kemp, Missy Hoover, Shayn Kemp, Briana Kemp, Jessica Crouse, Chastity Hall, Courtney Hall, Joey Hall, Jason Poteet, Brandon Wiseman, Tommy Irvin, Shea Irvin, and Christian Grimes; many great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; siblings Virgil Roark and wife Nell, Lois Nesbett, Irene Fazio and husband Carl, and Roger Roark and wife Dian. Rex was preceded in death by his father Burchell Roark; mother Lydia Roark; brothers Estel Roark, Leon Roark and Paul Roark; and daughter Beverly Kay Irvin Reeves. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 5, 2018 at Covenant of Peace Church - 4745 US Rt. 127 North - Eaton, OH. Pastor Sam Schilot presiding.
