Rebecca Nolen

Rebecca J. Nolen, age 53, of Greenville, OH, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH following an extended illness. Born September 8, 1958 in Troy, OH, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence T. & Janie Lovejoy Nicely. She lived in and around Darke and Miami counties for most of her life. Rebecca was a published poet who wrote from her own life experiences, and her poetry received several awards and recognitions. Rebecca was a special lady who will be greatly missed. She loved her family and friends with all her heart, and all that knew her could feel that love. Her memory will live in our hearts forever. Rebecca is survived by her husband of 19 years Ron Nolen: son Robert Nicely & wife Kim of Piqua, OH; step children Sandra Ann Barton & husband Bob of Middletown, OH; and Joseph Nolen of Lima, OH: grandsons Kasin and Kryan Nicely: sister Renata Simmons of Versailles, OH: brother Bill Nicely of Oklahoma: many special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends: and her beloved dogs Tina, Nia and Spike. A time of remembering Rebecca's life and sharing memories will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the New Hope United Methodist Church - Corner of US Rt. 35 W. and Upshur-Northern Rd. - New Hope (Eaton), OH.
