Ralph E. Gilbert

Ralph Edward Gilbert, age 51 of Huber Heights , Ohio passed away at his home on Thursday June 11, 2015. He was born on February 1st, 1964 in Fort Campbell Kentucky. Ralph worked at CPS for over 30 years and as a warehouse manager for Ace Hardware for the past several years. He loved getting together with family and friends for cookouts and playing corn-hole, loved summertime and planting in the garden. He always said " If duct tape or WD-40 didn't fix it - nothing will". Ralph was a baseball fan and a huge UD Flyers fan; he will truly be missed. He is preceded in death by his father Ralph Gilbert in 2004. Ralph is survived by Judy (Meredith) Gilbert, his wife of almost 25 years whom he married on September 1, 1990: his daughter Laura Brooke Gilbert and son Matthew Cole Gilbert: mother Iva Jo Gilbert : close cousins as well as numerous family and friends. Friends may call on the family from 1:00- 3:00 PM, Sunday June 14, 2015 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center, West Alexandria. Funeral service and burial are to be private per the family's request.
