Phyllis E. Wikle

Phyllis E. (Fudge) Wikle, age 97 of Eaton, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harry A. Wikle; son, Kevin Wikle; granddaughter, Lisa Wikle; sister, Janice Huffman; brother, Keith Fudge; and parents, Zola & Jesse Fudge. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Noel) Hofmann; son, David (Nancy) Wikle; grandchildren: Kerry (Lisa) Ward, Lori Davis (Matt Weatherford), Denise (Greg) Williams & Charlotte Cantrell; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Phyllis was a graduate of Gratis HS and Miami University. She taught 3rd grade at Twin Valley South for 20 years and loved being a teacher. She was a long-time member of the First Brethren Church in Gratis and a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren in later years. She and Harry loved spending time with their family, traveling, and being actively involved in their church. They also spent many years volunteering for the Red Cross. Phyllis will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A very special thank you to the care-givers at Greenbriar. Your compassionate care and attention have been invaluable.
