Paula A. Straszheim

Paula A. Straszheim, 58, of New Paris, OH, passed away Monday afternoon, July 30, 2018 following a short illness. Born December 31, 1959, she was the daughter of Wayne D. Brooks and the late Virginia P. (Cooper) Baker. She worked over 25 years in the office of Hometown Comfort in New Paris. Family was Paula's highest priority. She had a PhD in Love and Hug-ology. She was a very sweet, kind hearted and loving person. Survived by husband of 40 years Rodger W. Straszheim, whom she married April 22, 1978; sons Michael Straszheim and wife Beth of Centerville, IN and Chris Straszheim and wife Kim of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Emma, Gavin, Addyson, Liam and Ethan; father Wayne D. Brooks of Mesa, AZ; sister Pam Green and husband Terry of Losantville, IN; brother Reggie Brooks of New Paris; a host of other family and friends too many to list. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Mearl Hodges presiding.
