Paul R. Hemmerle

Paul Richard Hemmerle, 69, of Lewisburg, OH, passed away on Tuesday morning, September 11, 2018. Paul was born April 22, 1949, he was a son of the late Edward A. and Hazel B. (Apgar) Hemmerle. He retired in 2014 from telecommunications after 45 + years of service. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brookville, he was also a member and Past Master of Farmersville Masonic Lodge # 482 F & AM and the Twin Valley Chapter # 240 of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by beloved wife Mary Lou (Phillips) Hemmerle on March 2, 2006; sister Theresa Bennett and infant sister Janet Hemmerle. Survived by children Jonathan Hemmerle and wife Jennifer of Clarksville, OH; Joanne St. John and husband Shane of London, OH; Dennis Hemmerle of Beavercreek, OH; Amanda Haupt of Lewisburg and Jeremy Haupt of Urbana, OH: grandchildren Paul Haupt of Lewisburg and Amelia Hemmerle of Clarksville; brothers and sister Jerry Hemmerle of Union, OH; Tom Hemmerle of Pleasant Hill, OH; and Kay Titer of Covington, OH. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with the presentation of Masonic Funeral Rites presented by the Farmersville Masonic Lodge, followed by the funeral service with Pastor Kevin Cordner presiding.
