Nolan M. Pugh, 41, passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2018 at his residence in Trotwood, Ohio. He was born March 4, 1977 in Frankfurt, Germany. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Don (Skip) Grover and Uncle Brian Grover. Survived by his parents, Belinda and Mark Ayala; beloved son Mason Allen; twin sister Nikki (Jason) Tinnerman; sister Shanda (Jesse) Wright; nephews, Jesse, Ethan, Carter, Dawson, Brady; niece Kamryn; and grandmother Alice (Faye) Grover. He was also survived by his friends in Drexel that were like family to him. Nolan was smart, kind, funny and a man true to his word. He grew up in West Milton, Ohio but fell into the grips of addiction at a young age. He fought his addiction every day and was sober from alcohol for the last four years. Nolan lived the life of a wanderer but would do anything for anyone and always made people feel welcome. If Nolan had his last five dollars, he would give it away to someone whom he thought needed it more. Nolan always had a plan on making his life better for his son Mason and wished to spend more time with him. Nolan never wanted to be defined only by his addiction and mistakes, he wanted much more than that. He loved life, a good bargain (like his grandma), collectibles, and was an avid Browns fan. A private graveside service will be held after the first of the year. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
