Nicholas T. Hawley, age 24, of Middletown, OH and formerly of Preble County, died suddenly on Monday night September 27, 2010. Nick is survived by mother & step father Brenda & Stephen Land of Middletown; father William Hawley &wife Janelle of Cleveland, TN: sister Billie Jo Hawley & fiancé Shane Straszheim of Lewisburg, OH: step father Marion F. Day, Jr. of West Alexandria, OH: maternal grandfather Donald Hartbarger of Middletown: paternal grandfather Warren Hawley, Sr. of Richmond, IN; nieces and nephew Skyler, Destiny and Gracie Straszheim; step brothers Jeremy Day, Rob Day, Sean Day and Stephen Land, Jr: step sisters Tonya Day, Sharon, Kayla Door and Susan Land: maternal aunts and uncles Linda Blevins, Jeff Hartbarger & wife Kim, John Hartbarger, Cindy Carter & husband Tim and Crissy McGuire: paternal aunts and uncles Warren Hawley, Jr., Dee Dee Hawley and April Parsons. He is preceded in death by maternal grandmother Evelyn Hartbarger. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Elbert Sorrell presiding.
