Michael Leon, SHIVERDECKER, 63, of Dayton, OH, entered into eternity Friday morning, September 2, 2016. Born September 3, 1952, he was a son Harold L. & Emma Kathleen (Sparks) Shiverdecker. A 1970 graduate of Trotwood Madison High School, he retired from Crown Packaging in Dayton, working as a forklift operator and logistics clerk. Michael enjoyed riding his motorcycle, gardening, fishing, bowling and working on old cars. He loved music and was a talented drummer and guitar player. He loved animals of all kinds, especially his dog Penny. Preceded in death by his mother Emma Shiverdecker on August 8, 1998. Survived by son Michael Shane Shiverdecker of Dayton; father Harold L. Shiverdecker of Dayton; sister Debbie Kendall & husband Rick of Dayton; brothers Steve R. Shiverdecker of Huber Heights, and Eric Shiverdecker & wife Christine of South Carolina; nieces and nephews Kristy, Jenna, Max and Molly; longtime companion Rushie Hatton of Dayton. Friends may call on the family from 7:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
