Michael Biggs

Michael Stephen Biggs, born June 19,1953 in Pennington Gap, VA, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, October 14, 2010. Michael is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 28 years, Ruth Elizabeth (Webb) Biggs; children David Biggs (Debi), Deborah Colter, Timothy Settles (Darla), Tina LeValley (William), Toni Madewell (Doug); 11 beloved grandchildren; sisters Teresa Cramer (Chuck), Sharon Stone (Jeff) and Linda Reeder (Dave). He was preceded in death by his parents Glen & Mabel (Scott) Biggs. Michael retired from Dayton Walther in 2000 after 30 years of service. He proudly served in the US Army from 1972-1975. Michael has been a member of Union Pentecostal Church since November 13, 1985. He was an accomplished banjo and fiddle player, and had a heart for his music ministry with the Grace Brothers and the Sacred Mountain Band. He was a longtime ham radio operator, W8MSB. Michael was also a member of the "Buggy Bunch" and enjoyed their many road trips together. Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 18, 2010 at Union Pentecostal Church - 1100 N. Union Rd. - Dayton, OH, with Pastors Clifford Hurst and Derwin Ward officiating. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM until service time Monday at the Church. Burial Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union Pentecostal Church Youth Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Robert L.
