Maxine Campbell

Maxine Campbell (Baker) age 69 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday November 30, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on September 23, 1948 in Blue Diamond County, KY to the late Cecil & Amanda (Hamlin) Baker. Maxine loved to play Bingo and spend time with her family; especially her grandchildren. She was a former member of the Madison Township Fire Department Ladies Auxillary. She will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by son Adam Brummett: grandson Aaron Allen Reid: brothers Robert Lee Baker and Ray Baker: sister MaryAnn Baker. Maxine is survived by her husband Walter L. Campbell whom she married October 15, 1970: children Christine Brummett; Walter L. Campbell, II; Jason T. Campbell; Jonathan P. Campbell & wife Sheryl Campbell: siblings Norma Jean Stapleton; Ima Jean Nickels; Kathy (Baker) Skidmore; Bobby Jo Baker; Roger Dale Baker: 12 grandchildren: 10 great-grandchildren: special friend Joy Harlow: as well as many more family members and friends. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
