Mary Ellen Marker

Mary Ellen Marker, 88, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton, Dayton, OH. She was born April 5, 1932 in Dayton to Homer and Helen (Riley) Harris. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Lloyd Marker; sisters Dorothy Snyder, Diann Brown and Jean Jones; brothers Tom Harris, Frank Harris, Homer Harris, Jr. and Thurman Harris; daughters Barbara Price and Bonnie Myers; and great grandchildren James Kuykendall, Abigail Toops and Bailey Kerns. She is survived by sister Helen Peters; brother Robert Harris; daughters and sons-in-law Carol and Lewis Varney of Eaton, Cathy and Ralph McMullen of Fruitland Park, FL, Debra Worley of Eaton and Teresa Toops of Eaton; sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Thea Marker of Lewisburg, OH, Steve and Jan Marker of Dandridge, TN, and Ron Marker of Eaton; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She raised 9 children and 2 grandchildren. She always had an open heart and an open home for others. Always giving, always compassionate and loved desperately. She will be greatly missed. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 am - 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35, West Alexandria. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home and conclude with burial at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria.
