Mary Lake

Mary L. Lake, age 87, of Eaton, OH, as she was surrounded by her family, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday afternoon, October 13, 2011. Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charles & Eva (Gent) Hendershot. Mary worked different places over the years, including the shirt factory in Eaton, Baxter Corp. in Eaton, and in several different restaurants in the Eaton area, most recently Arby's. She was a longtime devoted member of the Eaton Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by beloved husband Hubert L. Lake on November 12, 1996: brothers and sisters Charles Hendershot, Elizabeth Taylor, Ruth Shamblen, Sue Robey, Eugene Hendershot, Grayson Hendershot, and Betty McFarland. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by children William G. Patterson & wife Kathy of Middletown, OH; Linda Johns & husband Michael of Middletown; Charles Patterson & wife Laura of Middletown; Rita Lake & husband Hubert, Jr. of Eaton: step children Susan Fields of Covington, OH and Hubert Lake of Eaton: 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren: sister Norma Bowles of Oregon.
