Mark J. Goeke

Mark J. Goeke, 66, of Eaton, OH, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017, following a lengthy illness. Born September 26, 1950, he was a son of John J. and Louise (Davis) Goeke. Mark was a graduate of Chaminade High School in Dayton and graduated in 1973 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry. For 37 years, he was the owner of Forest Resource Consultants, INC. He currently served as a Trustee for Twin Township, Preble County Park Board Commissioner, and was also a former Preble County Commissioner. He is preceded in death by his father John J. Goeke and sister Christine Boyle. Survived by wife Coral A. (Powell) Goeke whom he married in 1981: children Matthew Goeke and wife Leah of Centerville, OH; Cynthia Richmond and husband Al of Eaton; and Lisa Virani and husband Taj of Centerville: grandchildren Damon, Idella, Jack and Avery: brother Steve Goeke of West Alexandria. A graveside funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM Friday, August 25, 2017 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, with burial following the service.
